Are Turkey's really hard to hunt?

I was amazed when Isidro and Robert Vasquez drove up to my farm with a turnkey hen in tow. They had just left the farm, turned onto Glaeser Road and after venturing down the tree covered country lane about a quarter mile, came upon a turkey. They jumped out of their truck, and on foot chased the turkey down. The old girl was a bit addled but in good shape. Isidro and Robert were elated with their catch, and I was confused about what to do with her. We placed her into the chicken coop. After I talked to Mikki, we agreed that we just couldn't keep her pinned up like that. So after a couple hours, showing her to our grand kids and Mikki, I opened the pen, went inside and persuaded her to head back into the wild. She seemed relieved, and so did the 20 or so chickens. She ambled off toward the neighbors woods and dissapeared without turning back to thank her captors. I bet she had quite the story to share with her friends and family when she got back. Hopefully, she made it home.

Maybe instead of putting on camoflauge, arming with bows and arrows and rifles, you just chase them down? Seems like more of a sport to me:-)
