July 4h at Go Away with the kids

July 4th was a typical hot, humid Texas 4th! But the kids took advantage of the heat and took to the pool. We did fireworks (or better yet, Jarvis did fireworks and we watched). They loved it. We had a wonderful weekend.

Champanel grapes and monster tomatoes

We picked over 50 lbs of Champanel grapes for jelly. Mikki put up 35 pints, and there is another 20 pints of juice in the refrigerator to be put up still.
