Fall at Go Away Farm

This is the best season at Go Away Farm. The weather is just cool enough that a fire in the pit is in perfect order. That smell of oak wood burning is wonderful.

Louie, fresh back from the groomer with his bandana tied around his neck. Ready for company!

This is our third year for oranges, and the tree has over 100 on it. The first year we had about 7, then last year about 27, and this year over 100. They are very large and beautiful.

Cherry tomatoes are still producing.

Fall garden is in and coming along nicely.

Living Way Youth Group at Go Away

We hosted about 33 people over the weekend from Living Way Church. It was a Fall retreat and the weather was perfect. They had devotionals, private time to study and reflect, and a lot of time to do things like set by the fire, sing, and play BIADS.... ball in a dirty sock scrimmage game. It was the first time I'd ever heard of or seen BIADS played. They didn't seem to be bothered by the sock idea.

The kitchen team took a break from their work while the kids were outside at one of their events.

Playing BIADS

BIADS strategy... I think the girls surprised the guys a bit.
