United Supermarket's Talent Team at Go Away Farm

We were privileged to host the Talent Management team from United this past week. We lucked out and had decent weather on the heels of a couple inches of rain the day before they arrived. You can tell by this photo that we had cool mornings. The fog on the lake was beautiful at sun-up on Wednesday morning.

Short ribs and a bernaise sauce, topped off with lemon ice cream and chocolate cake. Tom and Phil turned their plates back in with clean bones:-)

It's almost Spring!

The light in the early Spring is so neat. Especially when you can get those cloudy late afternoons.

Mikki looked out and the three horses were standing dead still. I walked almost all the way to them before one moved. Dolly was almost asleep. 

Berries, Grapes and Fruit Trees planted

I made it by the hair of my chin. Spring almost caught me. But we luckily got our Blackberries, Table Grapes, Pears, Figs and Peaches planted in time. If all goes well, we'll have a nice little orchard in about three or four years.
